In April 2026, my PhD research was featured in The New York Times in an article by science reporter Alexa Robles-Gil: “The Murky Ethics of Swimming With Killer Whales - The New York Times”.

She compares orca snorkelling regulations in Mexico and Norway, the only two places in the world where it’s legal at the time of writing.
